Fathers Inspired Restored & Motivated (FIRM) will kick off the day with their inspiring presentation, "Team Work Makes the Dream Work," specially organized for parents. Join us from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the CCHS Lecture Hall for men and CCHS G1 for women.
After the presentation, the fun continues with games for all ages from 5:15-8:00 p.m.. Enjoy a variety of activities designed to bring joy to everyone, from the young to the young at heart!
Delicious food will be available for purchase from a selection of food trucks, offering something for everyone’s taste.
🎬 As the day winds down, gather under the stars for a cozy movie night on the turf! The film "IF" will be shown starting at 7:00 p.m. Don't forget to bring your blankets and chairs for a comfortable viewing experience.

A huge thank you to #CougarNation for joining us last night for our 2nd annual Black History Month Living Wax Museum and concert! 🌟 Our students and staff poured their hearts into this event, and it was incredible to see so many friends and family members in attendance. The student portrayals of Tina Turner, Sojourner Truth, Stacey Abrams, Benjamin Banneker, Ira Aldridge and more were truly inspiring. These wonderful young men and women have been hard at work preparing for tonight's Living Wax Museum performance. Please come out and support our students and help us to celebrate Black History Month at CMS. The event starts at 5:30 PM in our cafeteria.
The Jr. Beta Club and Builders Club are proud to present the "Out of this World" talent showcase at CMS. On Thursday, March 20th from 5:30-7:30 come out for a pasta dinner and dessert and some amazingly talented Cougar Nation students. Adults will be $10, children under 10 are $7. You can purchase tickets starting 3/3 from Mrs. Ritchotte. Checks can be made payable to CMS.
Don't forget to come out on Thursday night for our Black History Month celebration. You will have the opportunity to chat with our Admin Team, listen to the chorus and jazz ensemble and walk through our living wax museum. Congratulations to 7th grade student Addison Middleton. Her t-shirt design has been chosen to be on the volunteer shirts for the Special Olympics. Student designs were submitted from across the county and Addison's was selected.
Our winners of the Candy Jar Guesses had a SWEET long weekend. Congratulations to Bentley Wass, Layla Wolf, Ziva Miller and Ben Tilley who were the closest to guess the actual number of pieces of candy in the jar.
Ms. Bonsu's 7th grade math students were rewarded today for exceptional growth on their math beacon test. Students who grew 25 points or more on their latest test had a pizza party to celebrate. Congratulations to Ms. Bonsu and all of her hard working students!

The Young Georgia Authors district competition was held this week and we are so proud of all the YGA participants. A special congratulations goes out to Sydney Nelson who has been chosen as the 8th grade representative for Camden County Schools to move on to the region competition. Congratulations Sydney!
The high school will be hosting a transition night for 8th grade parents and students on Tuesday February 11th from 6:00-6:30 PM in the CCHS Auditorium. All 8th grade parents are encouraged to attend.
The CMS Valentine's Dance is right around the corner. The Dance is on February 12th from 2:40-4:30. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door for $6.
Students who purchase tickets online will also fill out the online permission slip.
Students who purchase tickets at the door will need a paper permission slip that can be picked up in Student Services.
