Marines help Kingsland Elementary move back in after renovation

The aftermath of the summer renovation at Kingsland Elementary School left loads of furniture to be returned to classrooms, offices, and the media center. The Camden County Schools Maintenance Department is grateful to the men and women of the Marine Corps detachment from Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base who graciously volunteered their time and strength in helping Kingsland Elementary School move back in to prepare for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. What would have take the Maintenance Department well over a week to complete, resulting in many sore backs and pulled muscles, was done in a single day by these young men and women of our armed forces. Also, a very special thank you to Chick-fil-A and Dominos Pizza for preparing lunch for all of the volunteers.
