Camdem County Schools Prek Registration

What:PreK Registration School Year 2024-2025

Who:Potential Pre-K Students

• A child must be 4 years old on/before September 1,2024

• A child must be a Georgia resident

When: March 4,2024 through March 29,2024

Where:Online Follow these steps: Click on Parents Tab>PreK Parents>Pre-K Registration, you will be directed to create an account in Powerschool if you don't already have one or in person at assigned elementary school.

Parents/guardians must provide copies of the following documents in person or online by March 29,2024 at 3:30 pm to complete the student registration process:

1. Proof of age-a copy of the child's certified birth certificate is preferred, but documentation such as passports ,official medical documents ,legal documents ,military ID ,or official documents from other countries is acceptable.

2. Child's Social Security Card

3. Two Proofs of Residency- Until bill and one of the following: current lease/rental agreement ,most recent income tax return , current paycheck stub , current medicaid card , current residential property tax statement or bill , current warrant or quick claim deed, current home purchase agreement, third-person affidavit or residency, or current homeowner's insurance policy.

4. Official Certificate of Immunization (Form 3231) - must be current and up-to-date.
   5.0fficial Certificate of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening (Form 3300) - must be current and up-to-date.

Lottery Drawing

Deadline date for receiving registration applications and required documentation for the Prek Lottery Drawing for both in-person and online is MARCH 29, 2024 at 3:30 PM. Applications received after this date/time will not be included in the PreK Lottery Drawing but will be placed on a waiting list after the drawing is completed.

After registration, a lottery system will be used to select actual participants. Each registration application will be assigned a number. Numbers will be drawn randomly to select participants for each elementary school. In the case of twins or triplets, each sibling will be considered separately. Children who are not selected will be placed on a waiting list. You are not required to, present at lottery drawing, letters will be sent out with results from each school.

The PreK Lottery Drawing will be held at 9:00 AM on APRIL 12, 2024 at each elementary school Parents must register their child in the school zone in which they live.
