What is Aspiring Leaders?
Aspiring Leaders is a program designed for current CCS staff with a Master's degree in a discipline other than Educational Leadership and three successful years of teaching who are interested in school-based leadership. It is a highly selective 10-month program aligned to the Georgia Educational Leadership Standards, with a focus on instructional leadership and faculty/staff development. Participants gain experience in giving feedback to develop teachers, using data to drive instruction, having courageous conversations, engaging in action research, and analyzing case studies to build professional judgment capacity.

To be eligible for the program, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Hold a Master's degree in an area other than Educational Leadership
Three completed years of successful teaching experience
