We are incredibly proud of the Camden County High School FFA Chapter and the countless donors who made a tremendous impact on the Coffee County community through the Fill a Trailer Hurricane Disaster Relief drive. Their efforts were met with immense gratitude—an understatement for the appreciation felt by all. I then had the opportunity to serve as an assistant principal for many years and now have been given the opportunity to return as principal. The building has gone through many transformations and faces have changed over the years. However, what has always remained is the spirit of FAMILY. Mrs. Gano’s 2nd graders at Crooked River Elementary engaged in nonstandard measurement fun! 🍬 Using Twizzler Bites, they measured crayons, pipe cleaners, and more, making learning sweet and engaging. Comparing these to 1-inch foam squares showed how different units yield different results. 📏 Next up, they'll match these with standard ruler measurements to see the importance of accuracy in everyday life.
