We are incredibly proud of the Camden County High School FFA Chapter and the countless donors who made a tremendous impact on the Coffee County community through the Fill a Trailer Hurricane Disaster Relief drive. With determination and compassion, Ms. Begnaud and Ms. Teston drove the packed trailer to Coffee County High School's Ag Department. Their efforts were met with immense gratitude—an understatement for the appreciation felt by all. Upon returning to school, the Coffee County team collaborated with all of their school counselors to identify students and families who needed supplies. This thoughtful approach ensured that help reached those who needed it most. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came together to support this cause. Your kindness and generosity exemplify The Camden Way and remind us of the power of community. Together, we can make a difference! 🌟 Let's continue to stand strong and support one another. 💙 #BElieveinCAMDEN #WeAreCamden

Happy National Principals Month! 🎉 Dr. Christy Roberts, principal of Camden Middle School, has taken a moment to share her favorite thing about her school: "I started as a teacher at CMS in 1995. I then had the opportunity to serve as an assistant principal for many years and now have been given the opportunity to return as principal. The building has gone through many transformations and faces have changed over the years. However, what has always remained is the spirit of FAMILY. I watch teachers and staff take care of students every day as if they were their own children. I also see faculty and staff support each other like brothers and sisters. Many former students have returned as teachers, and some have blossomed into leadership positions. I am extremely proud to be part of the CMS family with the love, kindness, and help that is provided to every member. " Join us in honoring Dr. Roberts and all principals who make a difference in our schools!💙💚 #BElieveinCAMDEN #WeAreCamden #NationalPrincipalsMonth #ThankAPrincipal

Ms. Dawson's 1st grade class at David L. Rainer Elementary had a blast with their pumpkin dissection today! The kids really got into it as they estimated the number of seeds in the pumpkin, measured its height, and even predicted if it would float or sink in water. It was such a fun and educational day for our little scientists! 🎃👩‍🔬👨‍🔬 #BElieveinCAMDEN #WeAreCamden #DLRESTigers #YoungScientists

Happy National Principals Month! 🎉 Sykora Cobb, principal of St. Marys Elementary School, has taken a moment to share her favorite thing about being a principal: "The best part of my day is spending time with our students and staff! Whether at school or in the community, there is no other feeling than hearing “Mrs. Cobb” and being greeted by a current or former student--talk about feeling like a Rock Star! As a principal, each day is a new and different experience! I love the challenge of working with educators to create new approaches to challenges and design new learning experiences for students. A recent quote that has become my favorite is, “Success is no accident. It is hard work. Perseverance. Learning. Studying. Sacrifice. And most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” The warm welcome and encouragement I have received from our students, staff, and families at SMES have been amazing—it is truly a special school to lead. Mrs. Gano’s 2nd graders at Crooked River Elementary engaged in nonstandard measurement fun! 🍬 Using Twizzler Bites, they measured crayons, pipe cleaners, and more, making learning sweet and engaging. Comparing these to 1-inch foam squares showed how different units yield different results. 📏 Next up, they'll match these with standard ruler measurements to see the importance of accuracy in everyday life. Mrs. Gano’s creativity is sparking a love for learning! 🌟✂️📐 #BElieveinCAMDEN #WeAreCamden #CreativeClassroom #HandsOnLearning #FutureMathematicians

Happy National Principals Month! 🎉 Dr. McManigal, principal of St. Marys Middle School, has taken a moment to share her favorite thing about being a principal: "As a product of Camden County Schools, one of my favorite aspects is not necessarily about one school, but about our school system. Camden has the best school spirit that brings students, staff, and families together as a whole. The sense of Camden pride fosters a shared identity that makes us all fully connected at all levels whether we are supporting a sports event, competition, or raising awareness for a cause. As the SMMS principal, what I value the most is being able to make a difference in a middle schooler’s day by hoping to make them feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. Life as a middle schooler can be challenging and unique so having a strong support system can make a huge difference in their middle school years." Join us in honoring Dr. McManigal and all principals who make a difference in our schools! 💙❤️ #BElieveinCAMDEN #WeAreCamden #NationalPrincipalsMonth #ThankAPrincipal
